Who can apply to sell on TikTok Shop?

To register as a seller on TikTok Shop Brazil, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a valid, government-issued ID from Brazil.
  • Not be associated with any government body, political party, or politician.
Currently, only business sellers are eligible to sell on TikTok Shop Brazil. The following business entity types are considered eligible:
  • MEI (Individual Microentrepreneur)
  • EI (Sole Proprietor)
  • SLU (Single-Member Limited Liability Company)
  • EIRELI (Individual Limited Liability Company)
  • LTDA (Limited Liability Company)
  • S/A (Corporation)
  • NGO (Non-Governmental Organization)
All applicants must submit their registration through our official platform and provide the required documentation during the application process. Approval is required before listing any products.

What type of documentation do I need to register as a TikTok Shop seller?

To register as a business seller on TikTok Shop Brazil, the following documents and information are required. TikTok Shop may request additional documentation to verify eligibility and ensure compliance.
All documents must be uploaded in color, high resolution, and clearly legible. Ensure that all documents are valid and not expired.

  • CNPJ or
  • CCMEI – Certificate of Individual Microentrepreneur Status
For Seller register as EI , provide one of the following:
  • CNPJ or
  • Sole Proprietor Certificate
For Seller register as SLU, EIRELI, LTDA, provide one of the following:
  • CNPJ or
  • Articles of Association and updates or
  • Consolidated Articles of Association or

How many seller accounts can I have registered on TikTok Shop?

TikTok Shop allows corporate sellers to register up to five (5) seller accounts.

What can I name my TikTok Shop?

All applicants must create a shop name that does not exceed 40 characters in length. To help you choose a name that stands out and aligns with your brand, follow these best practices:
  • Keep it simple and easy to remember.
  • Ensure your shop name reflects the products or services you offer.
  • Create the name in a supported language for your region (e.g., Portuguese for Brazil)).
  • Check that the name doesn't have unintended meanings in other languages.
  • Ensure it adheres to local laws and cultural norms.
  • Use the term "Official" in your shop name if you're the brand owner or have received the required authorization from the brand owner.

What restrictions apply to my TikTok Shop name?

Unauthorized use- "TikTok" without permission- Third-party platform names (e.g., Amazon, Facebook)- Brand names or corporate names without proper authorization, including words such as "official," "flagship," "authorized," "brand," etc.
Misleading associations- Mention names, surnames, nicknames, or aliases of individuals who have gained such prestige, recognition, or fame that their use could create a risk of association, confuse, mislead, or deceive the public—unless authorized.- Mention any title of a literary or artistic work that is widely recognized and could mislead consumers or falsely imply an association with the shop—unless authorized.
Contact info or marketing terms- Include external contact details such as phone numbers, websites, or social media accounts.- Use comparative or exaggerated terms like “the best,” “vs.,” etc.
Duplication or low-quality names-Use a name identical or confusingly similar to another TikTok Shop store.-Use gibberish, such as random or meaningless combinations of letters, numbers, or special characters.
Prohibited or harmful content- Include illegal content, discriminatory language, hate speech, or language that incites or promotes violence.- Include abusive or violent content, including threats, harassment, or disparaging statements.- Include content related to political extremism, such as fascist symbols or politically charged numbers.- Include explicit or sexually suggestive language or content.
ℹ️ Note: TikTok Shop reserves the right to reject any shop name that violates these requirements or is deemed inappropriate.

When can I start selling on TikTok Shop?

To begin selling on TikTok Shop, you must first complete your registration and receive approval.
Once approved, all new sellers will enter a New Seller Probation Period, which temporarily limits the number of daily orders and product listings allowed.
